Click on the small images to discover how to get this look.

This look makes a real impact. It’s retro, it’s groovy and upbeat, but most of all it’s up-to- date and right now!

Bold patterns are the thing - free-flowing, abstract, painterly, microdots, naive flowers, kaleidoscope polka dots, paint splattered…. the sky's the limit. Pattern is back and making a big statement. Colours are mostly vivid. Acid lime, fuchsia, orange, lemon, or more subtle mixtures of black and white and grey and red.

Go mad with block colours - on wall-stamping, stencilling, creating patterns with real geometric impact. Even murals could make a come-back. Whatever you choose: personalise your space! If this is too much for you, you can introduce this look more subtly by introducing coloured accessories, or painting a geometric design on an old lampshade or series of colour.

But most of all - have some fun.
